Jingyi Qi 漆京依

     Jingyi Qi is a filmmaker who recently earned her Master of Fine Arts degree in Film Production from Full Sail University. Her work concentrates on the relationship between people, and cares about animals.

     Qi grew up in China and got her bachelor degree from Digital Media Art at the Communication University of China. Qi has the passion for being an editor. She is the editor of her cohort's thesis film, Beta, which was shot on the F65 camera with a crew of 45. She enjoyed working with editing software and post-production members. 

     She is also the production designer of Beta. She designed the film set and made the storyboard. She loves working in the art department to create beautiful film world.

     A film she directed, shot, and edited called Love Temperature, which talks about the funny relationship between a young couple. Since Qi comes from China, she wants to create a communication environment for the different culture. Qi also cares about animals and want to shoot some films about animals. She produced and shot a short cat film, Dawn and Dusk’s Daily Life. She wants to put more concentration on protecting animals.
